Zachary McClellan

Research Associate

Biography: 

Zachary McClellan works as a Field Technician and Research Associate with the Cultural Resources Facility. He graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt in Spring 2021 with a B.A. in Anthropology with an emphasis in Archaeology. While Zak find all aspects and specializations within archaeology fascinating, he is particularly interested in archaeology of conflict/warfare, ancient migration patterns and trends, paleo-Indian and Early period pre-contact North American societies, and early hominids and human evolution. Outside of work and academia, Zak enjoys spending time in nature, exploring & traveling, hiking, reading and playing the occasional video game.
