Travel Expense Claim and Procurement Specialist

Biography: 

Lee Ann Moore, a Wiyot Tribal member, is the Travel Expense Claim and Procurement Specialist and an alumnus of Cal Poly Humboldt’s Business program.  Lee Ann began her career at Fidelity Investments in Sacramento, CA as a Customer Service Representative and eventually became the Operations Manager.  She worked there for 18 years and loved the clients, co-workers, and culture of the brokerage business.  Lee Ann relocated to Eureka to help with her aging parents and began working at Wells Fargo Advisors.  During this time, Lee Ann began Oceanside Jams – Preserving Native American berries jam business and founded the Humboldt/Del Norte County Master Food Preserver program with the UC Extension office and UC Davis. Lee Ann also began judging preserves, cookies, desserts, and anything chocolate at the California State Fair each summer. After nearly 2 years at Wells Fargo Advisors, Lee Ann began to fully engage in the Wild Berry Jam business with her new husband Gary Moore and her parents.

In addition to her work with the Cultural Resources Facility, Lee Ann works part time for Roger Hawkins CPA during the tax season each spring, and works as a Wiyot Tribal Cultural Monitor.  As a monitor, Lee Ann has worked with Cal-Trans, Mercer Fraser, McCullough Construction, City of Eureka, City of Arcata, and Adams Commercial General Contracting.
