Mr. Angeloff has managed hundreds of contracts from inception to fruition relating to both to prehistoric and historic archaeology for a period of 20 years.  He created the Tribal Historic Preservation Office at the Bear River Band of Rohnerville Rancheria and has well established relationships with federal and state agencies including creating memorandum of agreement, programmatic agreements, contract agreements, and consultation protocol, specifically with regard to the treatment of cultural resources throughout northern California. These treatment agreements serve as templates for federal agencies and tribal governments throughout the nation. Nick has represented cultural resource interests at State Department, with the Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, State Parks, CalTrans, and the Executive Branch of the White House during President Obama’s administration, among other agencies.  He was appointed as a tribal representative to the Tribal Nations Conference by two tribes for three consecutive years. Nick acted as Tribal representative for the Marine Life Protection Act negotiations with the State of California. West Coast Governors Alliance representative from Northern California. One of three west coast delegates appointed to the National Ocean Policy working group, working directly with White House representatives to develop national policy.
